Savage’s MSR 10 is a well-built semi-automatic rifle in .308 Win. The Hunter version comes with an 18” barrel, a recoil compensator, and a Blackhawk Blaze trigger. An adjustable gas block allows for the use of standard silencers without a flow-through design.  

The stock, grip, trigger, and magazine are standard AR components, but the reinforced upper receiver has been redesigned for lower weight and improved accuracy. A major advantage over most AR carbines in this price range is that the forend/handguard isn’t simply attached to the muzzle nut but is securely bolted to the upper receiver. The MSR 10 also features a screw that allows you to adjust the play between the upper and lower receiver.
