A true small-frame semi-auto that is almost identical in size to the traditional 5.56 caliber AR rifle. The Kamrad in 6.5 Creedmoor combines the superior ballistic characteristics of the large cartridge with the smooth and easy handling of an AR-15.
4140 Chrome-Moly cold hammered steel barrel with 5R rifling. The heavy profile gives the rifle a good balance and the nitrided finish ensures that the barrel is durable. The forend is a 15" free-floating aluminum handguard with Magpul M-LOK interface at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. There are also sling swivel mounts at the muzzle end.
The SFAR comes with the Ruger Elite 452 Trigger which gives the shooter a clean 2 kg 2-stage pressure. Full striking power on the hammer spring ensures the rifle will light even the hardest primers.
