The Leupold MX-6HD 8-48x60 Tremor 4 is a high-performance spotting scope designed for professional users and precision shooters who demand the highest standards of optical quality, precision, and reliability. With an impressive magnification range of 8–48x, advanced HD optics, and the Tremor 4 first-focal-plane (FFP) reticle, the MX-6HD offers exceptional capabilities for observation, rangefinding, and shot analysis at long distances.

The scope is equipped with Leupold’s Professional-Grade Optical System, which delivers high light transmission, effective reduction of distracting reflections, and a sharp, high-contrast image even under challenging lighting conditions. The HD lenses provide excellent color reproduction and rich detail throughout the entire magnification range.

The advanced design featuring Folded Light Path technology makes it possible to combine high magnification with a compact form factor. The rugged magnesium housing offers a low weight relative to the structure’s strength and protects the optics in demanding conditions.

Tremor 4 – First-Focal-Plane Reticle

The MX-6HD is equipped with the advanced Tremor 4 reticle, specially developed for precision shooting and long-range observation.

Since the reticle is positioned in the first focal plane (FFP), its size changes proportionally with the magnification. This means that the reticle’s scales and reference points maintain their correct angular values regardless of the selected magnification.

This facilitates range estimation, observation of impact points, and communication between the shooter and the observer.
 

Advanced Optics and Flexible Use

With a magnification range from 8x to 48x, the MX-6HD offers great flexibility. The lower magnification provides a wide field of view for general observation and the ability to combine the scope with compatible night vision and thermal systems. At 48x magnification, even small details at long distances can be examined with high precision.

The binoculars feature a Dual Focus system with separate lateral focusing for the image and individual diopter adjustment for the reticle. This allows you to optimize image sharpness and reticle alignment independently of each other, reducing eye strain during longer observation sessions.


 

For maximum flexibility, the MX-6HD is equipped with removable Picatinny and M-LOK rails for mounting compatible accessories, such as rangefinders or thermal imaging devices.

The dual Arca-Swiss-compatible mounting surfaces enable quick and secure mounting on a tripod with flexible positioning. The binoculars also feature a standard 1/4"-20 thread for use with other compatible tripods.
