The Slickster is part of the Ferro Concepts ADAPT Carrier System and can be expanded with UCAS-compatible accessories. Size Medium is selected according to armour-plate dimensions, not the wearer's clothing size.

Size Medium fits Medium SAPI, ESAPI and Swimmer plates, as well as 10 × 12-inch plates up to 10 × 12.25 × 1 inches. Each front and rear plate must not exceed 6 lb for the carrier to perform as intended. The manufacturer does not recommend steel plates because of sizing and the additional wear they cause.
