The TFMJ bullet has a jacket that also encloses the base of the bullet, completely enclosing the lead core. This design reduces lead exposure during shooting and upon impact with the target. Combined with the non-toxic primer, this makes the cartridge particularly well-suited for indoor shooting and shooting ranges where minimizing lead exposure is desirable.

The cartridge features low recoil, high accuracy, and ballistic performance comparable to that of a traditional 8 g FMJ cartridge. Suitable for both training and competitive shooting.
